《老人與�！分饕v述了：老人出海捕魚時(shí)，釣到了大馬哈林，雖然老人深知自己在力量，體能上都比不過年富力壯的魚，但他并沒有半途而廢，而是跟這頭150磅的魚比起了忍受疼痛的能力，當(dāng)魚漸漸浮上水面時(shí)，老人便用魚叉終結(jié)了他的性命。在返航途中，老人遭到了鯊魚的襲擊。雖然鯊魚被擊敗了，但老人的繩子和魚叉都沒了。老人并沒泄氣而是把刀子綁在一只船槳的柄上，讓自己擁有了武器。兩個(gè)小時(shí)后，老人又遭遇了一堆鯊魚，但老人最后靠著自己的堅(jiān)持戰(zhàn)勝了它們
《老人與海這》個(gè)故事告訴了我們堅(jiān)持不懈終將成功。老人跟魚比，在數(shù)量，力量，武器上都沒有任何優(yōu)勢(shì)，反而充滿了劣勢(shì)，那他是怎樣戰(zhàn)勝鯊魚的呢，讓鯊魚敗在他手上的呢？他靠的是什么呢？他靠著的是自己的.堅(jiān)持不懈。所以說我們也不能半途而非。故事中的老人面比照自己強(qiáng)大的對(duì)手毫不氣餒，但現(xiàn)實(shí)中的我卻是呢么的半途而廢，小時(shí)候我想學(xué)架子鼓，爸爸支持我，但是我自己沒有堅(jiān)持下去，半途而廢了。讀完老人與海之后，我才明白人不能半途而非，現(xiàn)在，我一定要重拾打架子鼓這個(gè)興趣，在這條道路上一直走下去。
