  英文書信 4

Dear Crystal,

Dear Kendrick,Well, here we are. One year and 3 months into our relationship. I am so glad we have made it this far. From day one I have known that you were different from all of the other guys I had dated. The very first night we talked you told me I was beautiful. Kendrick, I had never heard that before.

We have been through so much together. Like my parents not accepting our relationship because you are black. Well, that doesnt matter to me, because I love you for who you are, and for who I am when I am with you. You bring out the best parts of me and you show me what it means to be truly happy and in love.

Kendrick, Ill never forget the day I found out I was pregnant. It was the happiest and hardest day of my life. I was so scared to tell my family, but then when I talked to you I knew that everything was going to be okay. I realized that even if my parents didnt support me, you would.

The day I had Kiara was the happiest day of my life. Kendrick, when you came in the delivery room and told me that you were proud of me, it was all I could do not to cry. When I saw you holding her, I felt a love and happiness I didnt even know was possible. There were the two people that I love more than life itself.

Baby, I swear I dont know what I would do without you. You mean more to me than I can say, and I hope that our relationship lasts forever and ever. I love you so much.

  Love always,

xxx

Dear,

After a short time, a green parrot hopped out of the enchanted zoo, andback towards the town. As he was hopping about, the animal control came andshouted to the green parrot; the parrot understood, and started to fly up. Thevan of the so called, “Animal controller”, followed until the gas ran out. Hehad no choice but to give up.

Now of course, the green parrot escaped out of sight, and found some twigsthat were going to help him be comfortable during the whole time freedom. Whenthe pirate Captain Cook came back from his journey; he stopped a while to findtreasure on an island during his way pass. Once or twice a time he would turnback and sail for land, and so he couldn’t make up his choice. At last he gotthe treasure from his mates, and started for land immediately, they kept thetreasure in a box, which had a code of handsome Ship. None of his mates knewthat, so that whenever they wanted to steal some gold from the Captain, theywould have to enter the code.

Now let’s go back to the parrot; the parrot was actually having a prettygood time, but his nest became a pretty kettle of fish. His eyesight was not toobad either; nor his ears, except they were as small as an ant. When Captain.Cook’s ship came closer to land the parrot was all ears to hear what he wassaying. “Mates, you go down and fetch as many gold as you can, while I stayhere, I had a long week of sailing this ship; and so I’m going to stay in my bedand kick back.”

His mates were like servants and obeyed immediately, the parrot however;heard his every word, and wanted to stay with the captain and live. He had aplan, and then he flew down and tickled a mate’s toe. The mate laughed, and theparrot stopped. When the mate paid attention to the parrot, the mate said, “Howare you doing?” the parrot answered, “Great; how are you doing?” “Not too bad, thanks;” “Take it easy,” they soon became friends, and chatted all along, “So,can you give me a home to live on the ship?” “Sure thing, piece of cake;” whenthey got the parrot on the ship; the captain came out, and became friend withthe parrot also.

The parrot gave him advice, and he became wealthy and returned all thegold, but kept the treasure he found himself on other islands; and when peopletrouble the parrot, the captain with which will defeat those guys with hismighty sword.

  英文書信 6

Dear Mr. Seaton,

Thank you very much for taking me with you on that splendid outing to London. It was the first time that I had seen the Tower or any of the other famous sights. If Id gone alone, I couldnt have seen nearly as much, because I wouldnt have known my way about. The weather was splendid on that day, which I thought was rare. I still remember some people told me that in Britain there was weather and no climate. During the same day, it might snow in the morning, rain at noon, shine in the afternoon and be windy before the night falls. So I think I was lucky. I think the river trip was the best thing of all.

London really came alive for me as we saw it from the Thames during that wonderful journey down to Greenwich. It was all tremendously exciting a day that I shall never forget. Thank you for giving me such a great birthday treat.

  Yours sincerely,

  panda

Dear xiao li,

You are going to take CET-4 on June 25. having some experience, I’d like to share my knowledge of the test with you and hope it will be helpful to you.

First of all, you should have a clear understanding of the test and your English level. After that, you can prepare for the test accordingly.

You can at the beginning focus on your weakest points. For example, I was very bad at listening and I spent more time practicing it and I didn’t find much difficulty when I was doing this part during the test. They you should do exercises of other parts included in the test. It is a good way to do a model test once a week. When the exam is near, you can review all the exercises you have done and pay more attention to the mistakes you have made. It really helps.

What’s more important, when you are going to take the exam, be calm and confident about yourself. I believe you will do well in the test.

  Yours ever,

Zhang Qiang

  英文書信 12

Dear Tom,

Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose you"re keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So here"s a short description of what"s happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didn"t like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

  Yours truly,

  Li Ming

Dear Mr. Smith,

Congratulations on your firm’s recent(近來的) selection to design and print media advertisements for the Beijing Municipal Government. We learned of your success at our convention in Shanghai last month.

We have long believed that the success of individual franchises is directly linked to the healthy growth of the industry(生產(chǎn)制造) at large. We can think of no better firm to help our industry achieve wide recognition than your company.

We have followed your success in promoting other associations(協(xié)會(huì)) such as soft drinks, snack foods and recycling. Your “Dream Vision 20xx” ads for the bottling industry were both inspirational and effective in raising consumer awareness, and we look for similar positive responses(答復(fù)) to this business with the Beijing Municipal Government.

Again, accept our warm congratulations on your selection. We look forward to seeing the results of the survey you conducted(進(jìn)行) during our convention.

  Sincerely yours,

  Leonardo Chen

Dear Mr. Lin,

I am writing to thank you for your hospitality when I visited Wuhan last Monday when I attended your opening ceremony. It was really a big event. I was very happy to see the smiles on your face when you cut the red ribbon.

It is very considerate for you to arrange such a good feast with Hubei flavor. I really liked the lotus root and pork soup and it tasted fantastic.

The visit to your new company impressed me a lot. Watching those sections and devices, I knew you were ushering another success in your life.

Best wishes to you and your company!

  Yours sincerely,

  Linda
