  There are two main reasons for this phenomenon. To begin with, university and college students are faced with the pressure of finding a job after graduation.   As far as I am concerned, the students should have a more rational attitude toward certificate, because such certificates do not necessarily represent one’s ability.   Scientists have studied sets of identical twins. They have found that certain areas of the brain are strongly influenced by our parents, and that these areas influence intelligence. dentical twins have almost identical brains. When they did tests,scientists found that identical twins had very similar scores in tests with numbers, words, shapes and memory. This was not true with non-identical twins, or brothers and sisters; they had great differences in their test scores.

  However, our success as adults is not simply a matter of how clever we are. Our ability to work with other people is also important. In addition, our determination, confidence and our courage also play important parts. We may inherit our intelligence from our parents but we must decide how to live our own lives. We cannot blame our parents!

  There is one area where our parents can help us. When we are children, they can provide us with a stimulating environment in which to live. This will help to develop our brains and develop our confidence. If parents encourage their children to listen to music, to play a musical instrument, to play with puzzles, to draw pictures and to read books, then their children are likely to become more intelligent. Remember that when you become a parent!

  Successful language learning is active learning. Therefore, successful learners do not wait for a chance to use the language; they look for such a chance. They are not afraid to repeat what they hear or to say strange things; they are willing to make mistakes and try again. When communication is difficult, they can accept information that is inexact or incomplete. It is more important for them to think in the language than to know the meaning for every word.

  Finally, successful language learners are learners with a purpose. They want to learn the language because they are interested in the language and the people who speak it. It is necessary for them to learn the language in order to communicate with these people and to learn from them.

  What kind of language learners are you? If you are successful, you have probably been learning independently, actively, and purposefully. On the other hand, if your language learning has been less than successful, you might do well to try some of the techniques outlined above.

  it is true that the history is advancing and the human society is developing. as a result, human's thoughts are changing gradually. so it is with our understanding of beauty. yet we live in a physical world, many objects, which witnessed this progress,can still be found. building is one of them. after observing and contrasting the buildings of different times, we may notice the differences in their architecture.the earlier ones seem more magnificent and splendid while the modern ones emphasize on practicality and amenity. we can easily find that the standards of beauty from these buildings are not the same.

  furthermore,we also livein a mentalworld.so we shouldn't neglect the dissimilarity understandings of beauty caused by various cultures.

  influenced by "taoism and buddhism", the chinese always regard silence and implication as beauty while more western people refer frankness and independence. besides, most chinese like classical music and chinese painting when western people are fond of pop music and oil painting. we may also feel the difference from the literatures.

  in a word, the understanding of beauty is affected by many factors. but i believe that the human's pursuit of beauty is endless and the true beauty will not disappear as time goes by.

  有一天放學(xué)回家,媽媽催我趕快點(diǎn)讀當(dāng)天的課程,我沒(méi)有照做。于是,爸爸讓我翻開(kāi)課本讀一讀,我根本讀不出來(lái),大部分單詞都不會(huì),爸爸也著急了。正好要放寒假了,我決心把英語(yǔ)趕上去。每天,我早晨起來(lái)后就一遍一遍地點(diǎn)讀課文,然后背單詞,最后達(dá)到熟讀課文的水平。經(jīng)過(guò)幾天的努力,終于把一個(gè)單元的內(nèi)容學(xué)會(huì)了,有時(shí)候累得真想哭呀!就這樣,我堅(jiān)持每一個(gè)上午的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí),不到一個(gè)月,就把一個(gè)學(xué)期的內(nèi)容都學(xué)會(huì)了。
