春節(jié)的英語作文 篇1
New Year Party
On New Year's Eve, our class had a party. The atmosphere was good. It was out of the ordinary from the very begining. The boy student from one bedroom gave an unusual performance. We saw a boy named Li Xinmin turn off all the lights in a sudden snap. Then with three resounding crow of a cock echoing in the hall, the hall was again brightly lit in a snap.
Then, the representative of the bedroom Zhu Guozhang asked us to guess a line of a poem related to the above situation. He added that Li Xinmin alone was born in the year of the dog and the other three were all born in the year of the chicken. They left us all in confusion. And it was our monitor who was quickwitted. He shouted our, "The day breaks as the cock crows three times at dawn."
The hall After that, they had another item. This time Li Xinmin was placed in the middle of the circle. While he was standing there, the other three stood around him, each bowing down to him at an angle of 120 degrees. It was an idiom. This time I got it right:"The dog stands out among a group of chickens."
春節(jié)的英語作文 篇2
What are all the people doing on New Year's eve? Is it a firecracker? A reunion dinner? I'll just sit at home and watch the Spring Festival gala.
This year has meant a lot to me. This year is the year of the dragon, and I am a dragon. So, I was secretly determined: I must finish this year's Spring Festival gala from beginning to end.
At eight o 'clock, the Spring Festival gala began. The opening scene is hot and noisy, which makes people feel rich. The wonderful programs make me feel a little overwhelmed. These programs fall into several categories: singing, dancing, and hilarious, and, of course, liu qian's magic.
What I remember most is a small piece called "divine justice". The beginning of the curtain opened, and two men were calling. In the course of their conversation, I learned that they were liars.
It was a crook, but the conversation made me laugh. They were looking anxiously for tingting for 500,000 yuan.
At that moment, aunt li came over. When the two swindlers asked her, she said, "that's the one who spoke like a child. Then a swindler said to another, "it's so much like her." "No," said another swindler. "a sweeping one." Aunt li said immediately, "what's the matter? The broom doesn't have to be a cleaner. It might be harry potter! It makes me laugh.
A swindler tried his best to persuade her to lie to them. When he dialed a telephone number, she said, "hello, can I fool you with some money?" I couldn't help laughing.
In order to let aunt li learn to lie, the tall swindler demonstrated on the spot. When aunt li lied, the delivery came back and told them to figure it out. But because he was wrong, he recovered 30 yuan. I look at one side and think: you this mathematics whole class the first whether is the number or the countdown!
While helping the swindler get half a million dollars, aunt li discovered that the money had hit her own card. Then she showed herself -- she was a plain-clothes policeman.
After watching this program, I felt the police's hard work. Finally, I wish you a happy holiday!
春節(jié)的英語作文 篇3
When the new year is coming, everybody is so excited. The families get together and have fun. For me, as I was a little kid, Spring Festival was my biggest day. On the one hand, I could meet my parents, who worked in the city and were far away from me all the time. On the other hand, I could get the lucky money, which was enough for me to buy many toys. But as I grew up, the new year was less fun. I lived with my parents since I came to middle school, what’s more, I didn’t need money to buy the toys anymore. I could get what I want in the usually days. People said that the older, the less fun in new year. I knew the reason. If I adjusted my desire, then new year would be fun again.

春節(jié)的英語作文 篇7
Just as Christmas Day to the westerners, Spring Festival is the most important time to us Chinese.
Spring Festival is usually in February, but this year, it started on January 28th.
As usual, I went to my grandparents’ home with my dad and mum to celebrate it. A big family gathered there, eating “New Year’s Eve dinner” around a big round table. Traditionally, we have drinks and chaffy dishes. During the dinner, grandparents may give us red-packets, and we should say something happy and lucky to them. This New Year, for I had caught a cold, my first wish to ourselves was to be always healthy. After dinner, it was the most exciting thing on this eve, yes, that was to set off fireworks. We first lit some small ones to have a experiment. But all my cousins were so scared that they didn’t want to do it by themselves. Instead, they went up to the living room and watched me through the window from a distance. Yes, it was me that did it. On such occasions, it is always my job to light the fireworks and I really enjoy it. The fireworks were so beautiful and seemed magic. I was sorry that my vocabularies were so limited that I could found no words to describe it but recalled the fantastic moment again and again. They were of different colors, shining, up and down. First, it rose from the ground like a rocket with a long glowing tail. Then, it disappeared in the darkness up in the sky. In a blink of an eye, it appeared like a blooming of a flower, the light turned bigger and bigger, soon painted the sky into red. How magnificent!
Of course, the next thing to do was to watch the program on CCTV 1. It is a tradition among Chinese.
At that moment, the time seemed to move so fast, not long after, the clock had already struck 12 times while so many crackers exploded outside.
