　　My mother is a senior high school English teacher. Under standably， she wanted her daughter to pick up English early to give her an edge to later study， which I did not understand at the age of eight. I was so obsessed with fun and games that I hated to stay peacefully with all those strange phonetic symbols and odd words. I wondered what pleasure Mother seemed to have found in teaching me A，B， C. Wasn't teaching at school tire some enough for her？ I went on strike， refusing to spell a single word no matter how tender or severe Mother tried to be with me. For the first time in my life， Mother beat me， imprinting on my mind. The physical pain was gone long， long ago. But I have finally come to understand how it pained my mother to beat me for my obstinacy and disobedience， and I ache at her pain.

　　爸爸的愛好很廣泛，尤其熱愛英語。有一次，我正在房間里大聲朗讀英語，不知什么時(shí)候爸爸突然冒了出來，說：“英語真的很好聽啊，真不愧是******用語言，我也來學(xué)一學(xué)，要不然就落伍了�！庇谑�，爸爸就讓我當(dāng)他的“英語老師”，虛心地問我應(yīng)該怎么讀。剛一開始，爸爸讀得很難聽，就像外星人說話似地，可能連外星人都聽不懂吧。可爸爸沒有被困難嚇倒，天天早晨早起二十分鐘，一邊聽磁帶，一邊大聲朗讀。過了一段時(shí)間，在我和爸爸的艱苦努力下，爸爸的.英語終于有了很大的進(jìn)步。

　　老爸學(xué)習(xí)英語有一個(gè)最大的困難，就是容易遺忘。為了記住更多的英語單詞，老爸苦思冥想，終于想到了一個(gè)好辦法，他幾乎把家里所有的東西上都貼滿了紙條，紙條上寫著相應(yīng)的英語單詞。這樣，老爸在拿什么東西的時(shí)候，就會(huì)把這個(gè)單詞念出來。長時(shí)間后，老爸果然記住了很多單詞。

　　Emmanu老師黑黑的皮膚，胖胖的身材，雖然是光頭，有時(shí)還是能看出他的`頭發(fā)是棕色的。圓溜溜的大眼睛上面有兩道粗粗的黑眉，厚厚的嘴唇，不論是說話還是笑，總會(huì)露一排潔白的牙齒，黑白分明，特別耀眼。每次上課他總是親熱用中文叫我“小妹妹”，“你好”，我調(diào)皮的叫他“巧克力”。他也不反感，還愉快的答應(yīng)。

　　“巧克力”講課總是手舞足蹈。他用眼神，他用表情，加上肢體動(dòng)作，把課證的既風(fēng)、趣又生動(dòng)。我們會(huì)扮演課中人物或動(dòng)物的角色，互相問答。每當(dāng)這時(shí)，課堂就非�；钴S。答對時(shí)就會(huì)有一陣掌聲，這是我們最開心的時(shí)候。

　　我們常常搖晃著闊大朗讀單詞、課文。舒舒服服地渡過了2個(gè)小時(shí)。課上講的單詞、句子和語法，不知為什么，很快就記住了。

　　經(jīng)過幾年不斷的學(xué)習(xí)和積累，我聽和說的能力提高了很多，同學(xué)和老師都說我發(fā)音標(biāo)準(zhǔn)很好聽。在小學(xué)英語考級中都是優(yōu)秀。在天津市小學(xué)英語競賽中，班里只有我進(jìn)入了決賽，但跪遺撼的是我回到哈市上學(xué)，不能參加。
