  A Young Idler,An Old Beggar

Almost everyone knows the famous Chinese saying:A young idler,an old beggar. Throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true.

It goes without saying that the youth is the best time of life, during which one's mental and physical states are at their peaks. It takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of changes and rapid developments. In addition, one is less likely to be under great pressure from career, family and health problems when young. Therefore,a fresh mind plus enormous energy will ensure success in different aspects of life.

Of course,we all know:no pains,no gains. If we don't make every effort to make good use of the advantages youth brings us,it is impossible to achieve any goals. As students,we should now try our best to learn all the subjects well so that we can be well prepared for the challenges that we will face in the future.

Well, this is not how i expected to wake up this morning. after i received the news, malia walked in and said, "daddy, you won the nobel peace prize, and it is bos birthday!" and then sasha added: "plus, we have a three-day weekend coming up." so its good to have kids to keep things in Perspective.

I am both surprised and deeply humbled by the decision of the nobel committee. let me be clear: i do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of american leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations.

To be honest, i do not feel that i deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who have been honoured by this prize C men and women who have inspired me and inspired the entire world through their courageous pursuit of peace.

But i also know that this prize reflects the kind of world that those men and women, and all americans, want to build C a world that gives life to the promise of our founding documents. and i know that, throughout history, the nobel peace prize has not just been used to honour specific achievement; its also been used as a means to give momentum to a set of causes. and that is why i will accept this award as a call to action C a call for all nations to confront the common challenges of the 21st-century.

These challenges cant be met by any one leader or any one nation. and thats why my administration has worked to establish a new era of engagement in which all nations must take responsibility for the world we seek...

Some of the work confronting us will not be completed during my presidency. some, like the elimination of nuclear weapons, may not be completed in my lifetime. but i know these challenges can be met so long as its recognised that they will not be met by one person or one nation alone. this award is not simply about the efforts of my administration C its about the courageous efforts of people around the world.

And thats why this award must be shared with everyone who strives for justice and dignity C for the young woman who marches silently in the streets on behalf of her right to be heard even in the face of beatings and bullets; for the leader imprisoned in her own home because she refuses to abandon her commitment to democracy; for the soldier who sacrificed through tour after tour of duty on behalf of someone half a world away; and for all those men and women across the world who sacrifice their safety and their freedom and sometimes their lives for the cause of peace.

That has always been the cause of america. thats why the world has always looked to america. and thats why i believe america will continue to lead. thank you very much.

I Agree or not agree: the next twenty years from now on, students will not use printed books any more.

I dont think so. printed books wont be abandoned in such a short time. I admit that new technology is developing fast. Many advanced electronic products are gradually take the place of traditional tools. Just like in university, teachers like to use multimedia in class for it is quite convenient and efficient. However, for our student, it is not realistic to study completely by electronic products. There are many things need to recorded on books. Books are something meaningful and practical.

I should say, in our country, printed books wouldnt be abandoned within 20 years at least for two reasons. Firstly, books are classical container of knowledge. They accompany human to advance. A student without books could be someway ridiculous. Secondly, our country havent developed so strong to make every student study by computer or other forms of electronic tools. And even after 20 years, the possibility is also very small. I also think it is unnecessary because books are cheap but useful and still meaningful.

  Hold Fast To Your Dreams

  I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low,the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

Wow,what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up,and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.

However,we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids,we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity,we will make it.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go,life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is,pick it up and make it alive from today.

Hello! ladies and gentlemen, it is so nice to meet you !i am gladthat you can spend this precious time having this class in thisafternoon.

Now please allow me to introduce myself to you .my name is wangjia and imajored in traffic engineering .baoji is my hometown it is verybeautiful. and the people are very friendly.

As we all knowen thingking is easy acting is difficult and to putone's thoughts into actions is the most difficult thing in the world.

So if we want to learn english well ,we must practice reading englisheveryday ,acturally practicing repeatly is the best way to succeed.whenyou speak ,don't care how poorly or how well you speak just care aboutcatching the chance to speak ,enjoy losing face or just forget your facebecause the more you speak the better your english will become, neverafraid ofmaking mistakes because the more mistakes you make the more progress you will make.as a man living in the world ,we must try our best to makeeach day our masterpiece and don't let our parents down ,don't ever letour country down ,most importantly don't let ourself down.

Yesterday is a memory tommorrow is a dream so live for todayjust do it right now.i believe if you can dream it you can make it ,ifyou do you will win if you don't you won't.believe in youself trustyouself try your best. don't give up ,never give in, never lose hope ,never say impossible .the success is coming ! thank you !

Dear teachers,dear students:

  hello everyone!

The topic of my speech is "the hardness of life"

The vast desert,a tree stand, the show is a monument to the image.

Towering mountains, thousands of tree stand up,as is a magnificent the Great Wall.

The long river, all the trees stood up into a dragon of glory.

We are a symbol of too much, and too much. But I believe that my image is not "the gentlest hands, skin, such as Diorskin" Lin Daiyu, nor is the modern "unkempt and shabby","Su Qier". We are a symbol of hope and vitality. So we show in front of others should be ed without pleats, face without scale, modest and polite gestures exudes a stream of heroic spirit, the image of the vigor and vitality of the modern new youth,a into the embodiment of the spirit of nature.

Someone once said, life is a kind of hardness, integrity and dignity of life is propped up the hardness of bone. "Better life" and "the Kui back in the day,and not ashamed on the ground",which is always the traditional virtue of the China. Li Bai's "the eyebrow nengcui Zheyaoshan powerful thing,so that I may not be happy Yan" this awe inspiring atmosphere of the verse and whether it will make those no self-esteem people to shame? Loss of self-esteem is a worthless person, and we as the vanguard of the times,if drown in the darkness forever,or to do a dauntless hero,a flower in the wind and rain sonorous rose. The answer is self-evident.

Desert desolate also has the monument stands,Castle Peak again proud, but also have the great wall around, the river again quiet, also there is a dragon in the recumbent. But the time can be changed, our image, our glory remains the same. Because we pride, because we are confident, because we have a fresh life. And because of this,it is a vast desert riparian long,Qingshan was evergreen, the hardness of life is forever.

The tempo of modern civilization has been much quickened in the last twenty years. While witnessing the dramatic changes in the better-off society, people begin to reconsider the question of "survival". "Survival" in the old sense does not bother us anymore. Instead,we are more concerned about how to "survive" in the human world full of petition.

Competition always carries abreast challenges and opportunities to everyone involved. It might appear in an entrance exam,in a regular class,or in a small public speech. Those who fail to detect its real nature-whether an opportunity or a challenge a petition really is- will lose something more or less conducive to our growth. Of course,if we take the petition as an opportunity,we will favor it intentionally because they can help us outstand from the average; they will make us bee the focus of public attention; they will grant us more chances and rights to succeed. As a matter of fact, opportunities are supposed to be more perceptible and weling than challenges. The truth is,however,we will lose more opportunities when we choose to take the "opportunity" fork at the crossroads. The other fork, ignored by us and defined as "fearful challenges",offers much more chances for the walker in petition.

We have such an inclination in life to overestimate ourselves and hold a thoughtless attitude towards the negative outlook of things.

We believe in the old saying,"Opportunity knocks but just once," so we always wele it and devote all our spirit and efforts to it. The most devout believer of this saying are the graduates. Why? There are quite a number of them who pay full attention to positions in big cities and are willing to flood into developed areas under any circumstances, even though there will be too much uncertainty for their choices. Innumerable cases go straight to the same miserable end: God seems to refuse to help too many of His worshipers.

In conclusion,to define the quuality of petition seems to be far from valuable sense, for no matter what a petition is,an opportunity or a challenge,it will create nutritious elements for our growth.

So take a positive look at everything around. Keep our face to the sunshine, and we will not see the shadows.
