　　Who took the Flag today

　　Can tell the definition

　　So clear of victory.

　　紫袍華衰的諸公

　　如今執(zhí)掌著大旗

　　他們誰也說不清

　　勝利的確切含義

　　As the defeated-dying

　　On whose forbidden ear

　　The distant strains of

　　Burst agonized triumph and clear!

　　只有垂死的戰(zhàn)敗者

　　失去聽覺的耳朵里

　　才迸出遙遠的凱旋歌

　　如此痛切而清晰
