雙語(yǔ)詩(shī)歌欣賞:穿越詩(shī)歌
丹尼絲·萊維爾托芙(Denise Levertov)是美國(guó)有重要影響的當(dāng)代女詩(shī)人，1923年出生于英國(guó)伊爾福特。母親是威爾士人;父親是從德國(guó)移居英格蘭的猶太人，后來(lái)在一間英國(guó)圣公會(huì)教堂擔(dān)任神甫。萊維爾托芙自幼在家接受教育，五歲就立志成為作家。1947年與美國(guó)作家米切爾·古德曼(Mitchell Goodman)結(jié)婚后移居美國(guó)，二人后來(lái)離異。

The spirit that walked upon the face of the waters
Walks the meadow of long grass:
Green shines to silver where the spirit passes.
那曾在水面上運(yùn)行的靈
正走過(guò)沒(méi)膝的草場(chǎng)：
那靈所到之處，綠草就發(fā)出銀光。
Wind from the compass points, sun at meridian,
These are forms the spirit enters,
breath, ruach, light that is witness and by which we witness.
那自四面到臨的風(fēng)，天頂?shù)奶?yáng)，
是這靈所進(jìn)入的形體，
氣息，圣靈，光，它的`見(jiàn)證亦使我們見(jiàn)證。
The grasses numberless, bowing and rising, silently
Cry hosanna as the spirit
moves them and moves burnishing
無(wú)以計(jì)數(shù)的草，綿延拜倒起身，
默念著和散那，當(dāng)這靈
在閃亮的運(yùn)行中將它們觸動(dòng)
over and again upon mountain pastures
a day of spring, a needle’s eye
space and time are passing through like a swathe of silk.
一次，又一次，在山坡的草場(chǎng)，
