學(xué)情分析
六年級(jí)的學(xué)生對(duì)方位的學(xué)習(xí)有了一定的基礎(chǔ)，授課時(shí)以任務(wù)型學(xué)習(xí)為基礎(chǔ)，采用聽說法，情景法，交際法，多媒體輔助法等教學(xué)方法。帶動(dòng)學(xué)生用新學(xué)語言進(jìn)行交流。體現(xiàn)英語學(xué)科“語言形式和內(nèi)容相融合 ” 、“學(xué)以致用”的.課改精神。六年級(jí)學(xué)上有一定的自學(xué)能力和自控能力，課前做好布置預(yù)習(xí)任務(wù)，是非常重要的。

教學(xué)過程
1.熱身復(fù)習(xí)
老師出示一張中國(guó)地圖并進(jìn)行介紹:This is a map of China. I’m from Guilin . It’s in the south of China.然后向?qū)W生提問:Where are you from/ Where is your uncle from? Where is your pen friend from?
2.課文導(dǎo)入
老師出示Simon的圖片,向?qū)W生提問:Who is he? 學(xué)生回答:He’s Simon. He’sDaming’s cousin.再問:Where is he from?學(xué)生回答:He’s from New York, America.
出示美國(guó)地圖并向?qū)W生提問:This is a map of America. Can you find New York? here is New York?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答：New York is in the east of America.點(diǎn)題：老師將課文題目板書。
在地圖上標(biāo)注east, south, west, north（邊拍手邊/或做動(dòng)作，根據(jù)句子分別指上、下、左、右）復(fù)習(xí)Chant:
Up is north, north ,
Down is south, south ,
Left is east, east ,
Right is west, west .
�。ㄗ⒁饧m正他們的發(fā)音.讓全班來一遍后讓各組比賽一下看哪組最標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、最整齊、最響亮,可以設(shè)計(jì)一個(gè)學(xué)生說單詞，其他學(xué)生搶答單詞并做動(dòng)作，【可以省略：根據(jù)口令做動(dòng)作lease turn to north. Please turn to South. Please turn to east Please turn to west.】）
3.課文教學(xué)
老師問：“Do you know where these cities are?”老師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生聽錄音里面的城市，然后放錄音,學(xué)生邊聽邊看SB2 Unit 2活動(dòng)1的地圖,讓學(xué)生踴躍上黑板寫出自己聽到的城市（如果比較難寫，可以帶書本），把錄音中提到的美國(guó)城市和國(guó)家名稱寫在黑板上.再放錄音,請(qǐng)學(xué)生跟讀，糾正發(fā)音.
老師把所有單詞重復(fù)一遍，然后通過問答展現(xiàn)句型Where is New York? It’s in the east of America. What about San Francisco? It’s in the west of America……
老師問Where is …，學(xué)生搶答。突然老師問Where is Canada? 【學(xué)生可能會(huì)答錯(cuò)，老師就可以引出另外一種不包含表達(dá)法。】
老師說:Where is Canada? It’s north of America. Where is Mexico? It’s south of America.
句型比較：Where is New York? It’s in the east of America.
Where is Canada? It’s north of America.
�。ㄒ龑�(dǎo)學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)這種表達(dá)與第一種表達(dá)法在方位上有什么不同.因?yàn)榧幽么蠛湍鞲缭诿绹?guó)領(lǐng)土以外,所以表達(dá)方法不同.）
4、課堂檢測(cè)
1. （很驚喜的表情）老師快速指地圖上的某個(gè)城市或某個(gè)國(guó)家，讓學(xué)生搶答。
2．學(xué)生上臺(tái)對(duì)話練習(xí)
ask and answer in pairs（小組內(nèi)兩人一組相互問答）Where is…？ It’s in the…
5.課文學(xué)習(xí)
請(qǐng)學(xué)生邊聽邊看,熟悉韻詩的內(nèi)容.著重學(xué)習(xí)Tennessee,再放錄音,學(xué)生跟讀.掌握Chant后【學(xué)生邊拍手邊chant】,完成AB Unit2練習(xí)3.再聽錄音,根據(jù)錄音判斷練習(xí)中陳述是否正確.
6、小結(jié)歸納
學(xué)生自主總結(jié)。再回到板書上，老師快速指某個(gè)城市或國(guó)家，一組同學(xué)問Where is …，另外一組同學(xué)答：It’s …
7.課后作業(yè):SB Unit2活動(dòng)3聽錄音模仿語音語調(diào),特別注意句子中的重音部分.
