教材分析:本單元主要內(nèi)容是學(xué)習(xí)如何禮貌地發(fā)出,接受,拒絕邀請(qǐng);談?wù)撟约汉蛣e人的義務(wù)和責(zé)任.;學(xué)習(xí)如何安排好日程表同時(shí)根據(jù)日程表中的計(jì)劃安排自己的活動(dòng)。

Teaching procedures
Period 1(Section A 1a-2c)
Step1.Warm-up(課前熱身,激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣)
T: What weekend activities do you know? Make a list.
Ss: Study for a test/ go to a movie /have a piano lesson /surf the internet/ help my mother /visit my grandfather /play basketball and so on.
讓學(xué)生把所知活動(dòng)寫(xiě)在黑板上,這樣既為下一步要用到活動(dòng)名提供了選擇和參考,又讓學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)以前知識(shí)且能體驗(yàn)到成就感,興趣大增,在列舉的基礎(chǔ)上補(bǔ)充如Go to the doctor /go to the baseball game/ have a guitar lesson等且寫(xiě)在黑板上.
Step 2導(dǎo)入新課
T; What activities do you want to do this weekend?
S:I want to …
T: What activities do you not want to do?
S:I don’t want to study for a test/…
T; Yes, you don’t like these activities but you have to do them.
把句型You have to do something.寫(xiě)在黑板上,這樣導(dǎo)入了表示拒絕的重點(diǎn)句型 I have to…然后問(wèn)學(xué)生是否能參加我的生日晚會(huì)(晚會(huì)時(shí)間各不相同有上課時(shí),周末等)回答中必然有肯定和否定兩種,幫助學(xué)生回答完整且把下列對(duì)話寫(xiě)在黑板上.
A: Can you come to my party?
B: Sure , I’d love to .Thanks for asking.
Sorry I can’t. I have a piano lesson/have too much homework…
I’m sorry , I can’t . I have to help my mother./go to the doctor.
I’m sorry , I can’t. I’m playing soccer./going to the movies.
這樣表示拒絕的三種理由表達(dá)法都呈現(xiàn)出來(lái)了,.下一步學(xué)生就會(huì)使用以上三種句型來(lái)拒絕邀請(qǐng).
Step 3 Pairwork(2c)
Task: Give and accept or decline invitations in pairs like2c.Then ask several pairs to act out their conversations.
此任務(wù)是學(xué)以致用,利用以上所學(xué)來(lái)向?qū)Ψ教岢龌蚓芙^或接受邀請(qǐng),這樣一來(lái)學(xué)生在使用目標(biāo)語(yǔ)中慢慢掌握了本節(jié)課重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容.
Step4 Groupwork
當(dāng)最后兩組學(xué)生互相邀請(qǐng)時(shí),隨后問(wèn)全班同學(xué)Can he /she come to his or her party ?Help them to answer .No he /she can’t. He /She has a football lesson /has to help her mother/is surfing the Internet. Then ask the class to ask and answer in threes to practice following conversations.
A: Can you go to the movies?
B: Sorry, I can’t . I have to go to the doctor.
C: Can he go to the movies?
A: No he can’t .He has to go to the doctor.
通過(guò)練習(xí)會(huì)話,操練和掌握了第三人稱的相關(guān)內(nèi)容.
Step5 Invitation and report
Task1: Invite five classmates to a concert.
Task2: Report the result.
假設(shè)馬上有一個(gè)音樂(lè)會(huì),六人為一組,一人邀請(qǐng)其余五人同去,然后匯報(bào)邀請(qǐng)結(jié)果,這樣學(xué)中用,用中學(xué)既練習(xí)如何發(fā)出,接受和拒絕邀請(qǐng),同時(shí)練習(xí)了用第三人稱匯報(bào)邀請(qǐng)結(jié)果.
Step6 Listening
Task: Listen to 1b,2a&2b and finish the exercises in them.
在訓(xùn)練熟練的基礎(chǔ)上再做聽(tīng)力,既能起到再次訓(xùn)練和鞏固的作用,有能讓學(xué)生體驗(yàn)到成功的喜悅,提高學(xué)習(xí)興趣和聽(tīng)力。

Period 2(Section A 3a-4)
Step1 Revision
Task 1:列舉出拒絕邀請(qǐng)的幾種表達(dá)法,如:I have a violin lesson. I have to go to the doctor. I’m going shopping 檢查所學(xué)。
Task 2:創(chuàng)設(shè)情景讓幾位學(xué)生邀請(qǐng)他人參加,這必然會(huì)用到上節(jié)課所學(xué),再次口頭上鞏固所學(xué),同時(shí)提供交流機(jī)會(huì),讓學(xué)生展示自己,有成就感,從而提高興趣,學(xué)生既復(fù)習(xí)舊知識(shí),又提高了口語(yǔ)交際能力。
Step 2 Presentation
T:We learned how to give ,accept and decline invitations .But if we want to invite lots of people and we don’t have enough time, what shall we do ?
Ss: Call him ,ask other’s help ,write a letter, send an e-mail and send an invitation card.
T: Great. You have so many ways. Today we will learn how to write an invitation card . First look at the card in 3a .
Task1:List different ways to invite people.
Task2:Look at the card and answer following question:
T: What must we write on the card ?
Ss: Time , place, from or for whom, event and invitation.
通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)了解邀請(qǐng)卡的內(nèi)容,學(xué)會(huì)寫(xiě)邀請(qǐng)卡.
Step 3 Pairwork (3a)
Task 1:Fill in the blanks in pairs and check the answers in class. Then read the conversation together.
通過(guò)此會(huì)話的學(xué)習(xí),能看懂邀請(qǐng)卡且能由卡上內(nèi)容向他人發(fā)出邀請(qǐng).
Step 4. Practice (3b)
Task 1:Make an invitation card.
T: Try to imagine an event and fill in the card with details of an event.
S:. Students imagine events and fill in the chart alone. Two of them write down their card on the Bb. Ask several students to read out their cards.
Task 2.Invite each other to the event according to their invitation cards
A: Hi ,B. Call you go to the baseball game ?
B: When is it ?
A: It’s on Saturday ,June 10, at 7:00 pm.
B: Where is it ?
A: It’s in Hong Shan Stadium.
B: Great , I’d love to.
Step 5. Presentation
首先,趁學(xué)生制作邀請(qǐng)卡時(shí),把下列日程安排表畫(huà)在黑板上,然后向?qū)W生提問(wèn),從而引導(dǎo)學(xué)生如何制定周安排.

Step 7 Finding a partner.
T: First make a reasonable calendar for a week on vacation .Then invite one friend to do something together with you.
S: First make a calendar for a week. Then make a conversation to invite a partner.
