4. 能靈活運用have to 重點句型,并清楚其運用的場合和與must的區(qū)別。
任務分析 Lesson69 課中,第一部分設計了Jill 生病的一幅情景圖,并配有一個短對話,引出Seeing the doctor 的動機。第二部分利用Puzzle dialogue形式把本單元重點話題自然地,以日常生活的活動形式呈現給學生。第三部分采用Look, say and write活動,自然地引出情態(tài)動詞 have to的用法。

Step 1 Revision
1.Ask the students to talk about the picture.

2.Take exercise做運動. Play games 做游戲 . 讓學生相互之間做“Touch your nose”的游戲。Chant 讀節(jié)奏詩. 老師可根據課文要求,編寫與教學內容相符的小詩,歌曲等。從而引出對話

--No, I can’t. I have a cold today. etc.

3.讓值日生創(chuàng)設情景,與Partner就前一單元課文 內容“Mr. Smile在家中舉行Party”,進行自由問答,然后切入主題

--What was wrong? --She had a cold . She had a cough and a headache.

Step1 Lead-in (Pre-reading)
1. Story-telling 老師或學生進行story介紹,如Oh, boys and girls, there is something wrong with me ,too. I didn’t sleep well last night. Do you know why? 這時,學生會由于問題的提出而活躍起來,會七嘴八舌地進行猜測,然后老師向學生描述夢境,引出生詞和詞組 dream, fall asleep, wake up 等,為引出Roy的unhappy dream,激活了思維,掃清了語言障礙。
2.Picture-talking 利用多媒體,向學生展開畫面,引導學生對dreams 進行討論和評說。

-----What is he/she doing while he/she is asleep? -----He/She is dreaming.
-----Did he have a good dream or a terrible one? ---.
在引出生字dream 后,幫助學生就做夢與身體健康之間的關系,進行討論,在熱烈的氣氛中,自然地過渡到課文Dreams的學習上。

(1) dream 夢(可數名詞)

(2)dream 做夢 (動詞) 后面接“about"或“of"或“that”從句,
但不能接動詞不定式。
I sometimes dream about my grandfather. 我有時夢見我的祖父。
I sometimes dream that l am in the USA. 我有時夢見我在美國。
不能說 I sometimes dream to be in the USA.
(3)Sometimes dreaming is good for us.(dreaming 動名詞,動名詞含有動詞特
征,起名詞作用,在本句中作主語,意為“做夢”。)
Doing morning exercise is good for your health. 做早操對你的健康有益。
Smoking is bad for our health. 抽煙對我們的健康有害。
Getting up early is good for our bodies. 早起對我們的身體有益。
Seeing is believing. 眼見為實。
2. Last night,as soon as l fell asleep,…
昨晚我一入睡,…… as soon as 一……就 (引導時間狀語從句)
I will tell him as soon as he gets back.他一回來我就告訴他。
(主句用一般將來時,從句用一般現在時)
不能說:As soon as I will tell him,he gets back.
應該說:As soon as the rain stops,I will go hiking.雨一停我就去遠足。
3.I fell asleep. 我睡著了。
fall asleep = go to sleep.入睡 be asleep = sleep 睡眠、睡著
go to bed 上床睡覺(就寢)
He sleeps from nine at night to five in the morning.他從晚上9點睡到早上5點。
I sleep for eight hours. 我睡8個小時。
通常不說 I slept at half past ten last night.
可以說 I went to sleep /fell asleep at half past ten last night.
通常不說 As he was very tired,he slept as soon as he sat down.
可以說 As he was very tired,he went to sleep/fell asleep as soon
as he sat down. 由于他很累了,他一坐下來就睡著了。
4,I dreamt that 1 was busy planting trees all night long.
我夢見我一整晚忙于植樹。
be busy doing sth. 忙于做某事
All the farmers are busy getting in the crops.所有的農民正忙于收割莊稼。
5.We had to work hours to stop the ship from going down.
我們得工作幾個小時來阻止輪船下沉。
stop…from 阻止……做……
We can’t stop him from coming. 我們不能阻止他來。
My mother stopped me from marrying her. 我母親不讓我和她結婚。
The Great Green Wall will stop the wind from blowing the earth away.
綠色長城將阻止風把土刮走。
It will stop the sand from moving towards the rich farmland in the south.

6.I always have very difficult jobs to do. 我總是有非常困難的工作要做。
job (可數名詞) work(不可數名詞)
a job = a piece of work to do (動詞不定式)作定語修飾名詞“jods"。
7.What about the sleeping pills I gave you?
我給你的安眠藥怎么樣?
I gave you 定語從句修飾名詞“pills”。英語中作定語的短語或從句通常放在修飾的名詞后面,漢語翻譯時通常放在前面。

形容詞作表語。其動詞形式是wake(動詞原形),woke(過去式)
wake…up 把…… 喚醒,把……叫醒,把……吵醒。
The crying of the baby woke me up.嬰兒的哭聲把我吵醒了。
You should wake him up at 5:30.你應該在5點30分把他叫醒。
He woke to find himself in the hospital.他醒來,發(fā)現自己在醫(yī)院里。
Is he awake or asleep? 他是醒著還是睡著了?
9. Did it work?藥物有效嗎?
應根據上下文推斷work的意思,此處work意為“有效,起作用”。又如。
My watch doesn’t work. 我的手表不走了。
He's working at a new invention.他正從事一項新的發(fā)明。
He's working at French. 他在學法語。 ,
10. … , we had to play the same piece again and again all night.
我們得一整個晚上一遍又一遍地彈相同的樂曲。
