Thoughts on the design:

本節(jié)課是本單元的第二課時，是以讀為主的閱讀教學課。閱讀教學應(yīng)當著重培養(yǎng)學生獲取和處理主要信息的能力，理解文章主旨和作者意圖，通過上下文的線索進行推理，所以，設(shè)計了由淺入深多項閱讀理解題；同時，本單元要求培養(yǎng)學生形成良好的辨認客觀觀點的閱讀策略，所以在題目中也有所體現(xiàn)。

Teaching aims:

1. After learning the reading material Important Film Events around the World, the students will be able to identify a transcript of a television show;

2. After reading, Ss will be able to describe different film festivals around the world;

3. After learning the reading strategy, Ss will be able to identify objective views;

4. After reading the passage, Ss will be interested in searching for more knowledge about films.

Step 1 Lead-in (PPT 5-11)

Check the homework. (Ask Ss to surf the Internet or refer to some relevant books to find background information about film events around the world and their favorite directors or films.)

為培養(yǎng)學生細節(jié)信息的查找和辨識能力，設(shè)置7個對錯題；同時利用課本資源，回答課本第52頁C1的五道細節(jié)理解題，老師最好要求學生說出答案在文中的位置；C2的題稍作修改，添加了一個代表人物，這樣，同學們填好表格就可以就每一電影節(jié)的信息進行口頭簡述的訓練。另外，為配合試卷閱讀題型，又根據(jù)文章設(shè)置了6道選擇題，培養(yǎng)學生了解細節(jié)、推理等閱讀題的能力。
