Read the letter
目的 通過句子之間的邏輯關(guān)系,將打亂了信還原,熟悉信的內(nèi)容,并根據(jù)相關(guān)信息回答問題.
Steps Teacher’s Activity Students’ Activity Preparation Work
Step 1 將打亂順序的信發(fā)給學生并提出以下問題:
1. Where is So-Young from?
2. What languages does she speak?
3. What does she want?
4. Does she have any brothers or sisters?
5. What does she like?
6. What’s her favorite subject? 將信按照正確的順序標上序號 把信打亂,并發(fā)給每個人
Step 2 觀察學生完成情況 Talk about the answers in groups
Step 3 以小組形式回答問題,并簡單匯報So-Young 的情況
Task 2: Find out where your partners’ pen pals are from
目的 訓練學生快速閱讀能力,根據(jù)問題能夠及時找到相關(guān)的信息的能力

Step 1 Question:
1. What’s your pen pal’s name?
2. Where is he/she from?
3. What language does he/she speak?
4. Where does he/she live? Read the letter and underline the key words to the questions. 準備好49封來自于不同國家的英文信,并提前放在每個人的課桌上
Step 2 Divide the whole class in groups of four and observe . Fill in the chart with the information they get from other group members by asking. 表格
Step 3 Tell the Ss to give the whole class a report. Report and take notes
匯報本組成員筆友的相關(guān)情況,其他同學記錄和自己的筆友來自于同一個國家的同學的名字 A map of the world

布置課后任務 筆友來自于同一個國家的同學組成一組,課后準備該國家的相關(guān)資料,如風土人情、習俗等等,下節(jié)課上課時介紹給大家。
Task 3: Writing a letter to your pen pal
目的 練習所學句型,并鍛煉學生寫作能力。
Step 1 Ask the Ss to write a letter to their pen pal, including the following details.
Your name and age
Where you live
The number of people in your family
Your interests
Your favorite subject or the club you join in your class Write a letter.
Step 2 Ask the Ss if they’d like to show their letters.
Share the letter they have written with their partners if they don’t mind.
