[設(shè)計(jì)思想]

《英語(yǔ)課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》倡導(dǎo)“任務(wù)型”的教學(xué)途徑，其最終目的是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)的能力。教師應(yīng)注重設(shè)計(jì)貼近學(xué)生生活實(shí)際的教學(xué)活動(dòng)，避免以單純傳授語(yǔ)言知識(shí)為目的的教學(xué)方法，吸引學(xué)生充分參與到課堂活動(dòng)中來(lái)。 “讓學(xué)生做事”是設(shè)計(jì)課堂教學(xué)的主要原則，也是設(shè)計(jì)課堂任務(wù)的主要思路。本節(jié)課設(shè)計(jì)如下四個(gè)真實(shí)的任務(wù)，任務(wù)（一）：請(qǐng)學(xué)生根據(jù)自己已經(jīng)擁有的地理知識(shí)，將城市與國(guó)家名稱(chēng)貼在一起。任務(wù)（二）：已經(jīng)掌握的國(guó)家名稱(chēng)，觀(guān)看片段，猜一猜出現(xiàn)的國(guó)家。任務(wù)（三）根據(jù)自己的愛(ài)好及所收到的外國(guó)友人的相關(guān)信息，選擇自己滿(mǎn)意的筆友；任務(wù)（四）：根據(jù)自己所選定的筆友的情況，在完成聽(tīng)力材料的基礎(chǔ)上，使用要求掌握的句型調(diào)查哪位同伴的筆友和自己的筆友來(lái)自同一個(gè)國(guó)家，并將調(diào)查結(jié)果進(jìn)行匯報(bào)。這四個(gè)任務(wù)之間合理過(guò)度，采取選擇、確定、調(diào)查及匯報(bào)的授課方式，調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生運(yùn)用要求掌握的語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)做事的積極性，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)的過(guò)程中學(xué)會(huì)歸納和實(shí)踐等方法，重在側(cè)重對(duì)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)策略等方面能力的培養(yǎng)；小組活動(dòng)形式的目的在于增強(qiáng)同學(xué)之間的團(tuán)結(jié)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生謙虛好學(xué)的精神，同時(shí)也提供給學(xué)生更多運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)的機(jī)會(huì)。

此課是第13單元的起始課。

2.學(xué)會(huì)詢(xún)問(wèn)并回答人們的居住城市。

Teaching Plan：

Pre-task：Ask students to bring some thing that represents some country.

Step I. Task One

1. Match the cities and the map. (4 students a group)

2. Learn the new words with the pictures.

3. Listen and repeat. (1a)

4. Listen and circle. (1b)

Step II. Task Two - Guessing Game 1

1. Students watch the videos and then tell what countries they saw.

2. Ask students to show the things they brought, the other students will guess where they are from. If the students forgot to bring things to class, ask the students to do group work. They should say a sentence or a short paragraph and ask the other students to guess who she/he is. The other students can ask more questions.

For example:

Student A says: He can play basketball very well.

The others can ask: Where is she/he from? Where is he now?

Student A answers: He is from China. He is in the United States.

The others will guess: He is Yao Ming.

Get each group say one, the other groups ask and guess.

Step IV. Task Three - Choosing a pen pal

Group work: 4 students a group

Get students to choose their favorite pen pals from other countries according to the cards given by teacher. The following card in only an example.

Live: Toronto

Like: Dancing, basketball, English, thrillers,

Language needed：

My pen pal is Maria. She is from Canada. She lives in Toronto. She likes dancing, basketball, English and thrillers.

Step V. Task Four - looking for friends

Pair work:

After choosing their pen pals, get the students to look for friends and find out whose pen pals come from the same country and live in the same city.

Language needed：

1. -Where is your pen pal from?

-She/He is from….

2. -Where does she/he live?

-She/He lives in….

Step VI. Homework

1. Please write a letter to your pen pal and tell her/him something about you.

2. Make a card for your favorite movie star or sport star.

Step VII. Grammar Focus
